Her goal is to provide manual therapy, education, and functional exercise prescription to help individuals get back to doing the activities that they love.
Melissa's focus is on movement and biomechanical restoration through manual therapy and exercise. She is presently navigating through the Mackie Mentorship program of Advanced Manual Therapy. She is progressing towards an Orthopaedic Division Diploma in Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy for further credentialing.
Melissa has recently completed an Oncology course focusing on Rehabilitation Strategies for Patients with Cancer. Her passion is to provide individuals in cancer remission or undergoing cancer treatment with strategies and education, and to create client-centered programs to improve function and quality of life.
Outside of the clinic Melissa enjoys being outdoors, spending time with her friends and family, and playing sports such as badminton, softball, hockey, and golf.
