  • Option of signing up for either 1x/week or 2x/week commitment, Tuesday and/or Thursdays 12:30 PM - 1:30PM

We are excited to announce that we are once again offering our Osteoarthritis Exercise Classes! This program is designed and led by Nadia Philipenko BSc Kin, MPT specifically for those living with osteoarthritis. Our class sizes are small to allow for ample distancing.  Nadia is present and leading the entire class to ensure each participant receives a tailored program specific to their needs and limitations!

This program is designed and led by Nadia Philipenko BSc Kin, MPT, BDN specifically for those living with osteoarthritis. This program will focus on maintaining strength and mobility in one combo class, two critical aspects in osteoarthritis symptom management.

Osteoarthritis Strength & Mobility Combo Class

Goal: Improve whole body strength & stamina. Improve flexibility and mobility.
 Specifics:
  • Warm up
  • Interval style training
  • Joint mobility and stretching of spine, hips, knees
  • Core, shoulder, hip, and leg strengthening
  • Lifting technique and strength
  • Functional everyday movements and new motor patterns
  • Specific individual modifications provided
 
Because this program is administered under the direct supervision of a physiotherapist, it can be claimed through most insurance companies as physiotherapy.
