Theresa works mainly through integrative manual therapy through the Integrated Systems Model, as she has completed lengthy studies in this field in Vancouver B.C. This therapy involves holistic assessment and treatment of dysfunctions through integrating many functional components of the body with corrective techniques. This system of treatment is highly useful for longstanding problems and ones that have gone unresolved with other treatments.
Dry Needling is also a practice area for Theresa, this is an alternate tool for releasing trigger points and dysfunctional muscle and fascia. Dry needling is also useful for conditions of sensitivity or chronic pain.
Headaches, TMJ dysfunction, neck, rib, and the pelvis / hip are areas of particular interest for Theresa.
