Mathew Todos, B.Sc. (Kin), M.P.T.
Physiotherapist
Mathew was born and raised in Saskatchewan. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (Exercise and Sports Studies) with Great Distinction in 2022, followed by his Masters of Physical Therapy in 2024, both from the University of Saskatchewan.
Mathew is deeply passionate about helping people maintain mobility and continue doing the activities they love. He combines education, exercise prescription, and manual therapy to empower his patients to thrive in their daily lives. With a strong focus on understanding and addressing everyone’s unique needs, he wants to provide the tools and support necessary for long-term success in movement and overall well-being. During his clinical training, Mathew worked with diverse populations in settings ranging from private MSK clinics to outpatient neuro and pediatric physiotherapy. He developed a strong interest in manual therapy, therapeutic exercise prescription, and pain management strategies. As a former athlete with the University of Saskatchewan Huskie football team, Mathew gained valuable insights into sports medicine and athlete recovery, which he further honed while collaborating with the Huskie health team as a physiotherapy student. In his free time, Mathew enjoys staying active and has recently taken up powerlifting. He also loves cycling, backcountry camping, and canoeing in the scenic wilderness of northern Saskatchewan. Mathew is excited to join Mackie Physio and looks forward to fostering meaningful connections within the community while helping individuals move with confidence, reach their goals, and enjoy life to the fullest. |
