A new study out of the University of Saskatchewan suggests that frequent stretching might be just as beneficial as brisk walking in reducing high blood pressure.
The study was co-authored by U of S Kinesiology professor Dr. Phil Chilibeck (PhD), and showed that a group of participants who stretched for 30 minutes five days per week showed a bigger reduction in blood pressure than the participants who walked briskly for the same amount of time.
You can read this article to find out more about the study.
