A new study out of the University of Saskatchewan suggests that frequent stretching might be just as beneficial as brisk walking in reducing high blood pressure.
The study was co-authored by U of S Kinesiology professor Dr. Phil Chilibeck (PhD), and showed that a group of participants who stretched for 30 minutes five days per week showed a bigger reduction in blood pressure than the participants who walked briskly for the same amount of time.
You can read this article to find out more about the study.
Neurofascial stretching is a unique means of achieving greater flexibility. It works to create improved symmetry around the joints for superior joint performance.
