Eileen Schmidt MSW, RSW
Registered Social Worker & Mental Health Therapist, EMDR Certified Therapist
|
Eileen earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Calgary and brings over two decades of clinical experience to her practice. She is fully insured and registered to provide in-person and online therapy in Saskatchewan, as well as virtual care for clients across Ontario.
Eileen provides clinical support to adults and youth (ages 16+) navigating trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, stress, mood challenges, and major life transitions, as well as couples seeking relational support. She integrates evidence-based as well as trauma-informed modalities tailored to each client, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and the Gottman Method for couples therapy. Recognizing that seeking support takes courage, Eileen takes a safe, collaborative, and non-judgmental approach to care. Her goal is to create a space where clients feel truly heard, supported, and empowered to navigate their journey at their own pace. Outside of the clinic, Eileen enjoys spending time with family, staying active through pickle ball and spin classes, walking her dog, and escaping to the Rockies whenever she gets the chance. |
