Registered Massage Therapist
Devan Ludwig, R.M.T.
Devan has always considered herself a natural healer. Through many years working in different industries she realized that even something as simple as a smile could be enough to heal a tiny part of someone’s soul. However, smiles were just the beginning for her. When she found massage therapy to be extremely effective in helping a loved one after injury, she knew she had to move forward with learning as much as she could about this holistic healthcare practice.
In April of 2019 she graduated with distinction from the Professional Institute of Massage Therapy in Saskatoon. From there she went on to complete the MTAS exam, allowing her to work on people who have been injured at work or in car accidents. She took an interest working with seniors, postural dysfunctions, chronic neck and shoulder pain, and more.
Her massage treatments are deep, therapeutic, and precise, while still being comfortable and flowing smoothly through a variety of techniques. She prides herself on developing unique treatment plans and setting goals between herself and her clients. She genuinely believes that if you set reasonable goals together, these goals can be achieved with determination from both parties and some home care strategies.
Although she loves her career as a massage therapist, she wanted to explore other ways to help people. She is now enrolled in a Type II Diploma Program to become a Manual Osteopathic Therapist, and is excited to eventually bring this modality to Mackie Physiotherapy. When not in the clinic, Devan can be found hanging out with her Great Pyrenees (Yuki), enjoying the outdoors with her partner, Ryan, and seeking out any and all things that go fast - roller coasters, cars, bicycles, motorcycles, airplanes, you name it!
